Site Seeing:
Endoro Trail is a 2 hour nature walk into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Elephant caves have been created by elephants seeking for salty minerals in the soil that they eat to help with digestion. Endoro Falls are formed by a river whose origin is from the underground springs at the Crater Rim.
Adventure:
Mountain Biking is a ride through the community to visit the Endoro Primary School in the effort to understand the educational system in the country and efforts being made by the government to educating the youth. Visiting the Coffee Plantation to learn about coffee’s life cycle from a seed to ground coffee ready for use. We can also visit the local brick making site, where we shall have the opportunity to see for ourselves how the local community manufactures the bricks that are used to build houses in the neighborhood.
Crater Rim Trail is a 7 hour walking safari from the Endoro Lodge to the Crater Rim through the Ngorongoro Forest Highland under the guidance and protection of two armed rangers and a tour guide. On this hiking expedition we shall experience a rejuvenating medicinal discovery, enjoy bird watching and observe the behavior of the wild. Somewhere in the middle of the animal kingdom we shall enjoy the bush lunch before proceeding to the end of our journey, where a 4x4 vehicle shall be waiting to take us back to the Lodge.
Cultural Tour:
Visit the natives of the Ngorongoro Forest Highlands and learn how their forefathers migrated to the area and survived side-by-side with the wild for centuries before the founding of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Cultural Dance will be performed by a group of iraqw ladies, and the tinga tinga painting art where the guests shall have the opportunity to select a few of their choice. The guests will have the opportunity of learning about the Iraqw people, their lifestyle and livelihood.
